Sergio Vastano visiting the Distillerie Berta

Sergio Vastano started with a laughing joke... "I don't believe my eyes" crossing the doorway of the new ageing cellar in Casalotto di Mombaruzzo admiring its expanse and the tonneaux in lines which seem to disappear at the end of the cellar. Sergio, well-known comic actor, above all famous by his renowned character parts playing during the historical Drive In, is dumfounded looking at the almost 2.000 square meters of the cellar which Gianfranco shows him.

"A friend of mine gave me the first bottle!" says Sergio walking up and down into the large halls in Casalotto di Mombaruzzo, spellbound by the first alembics used in 1947, the first year of the establishment of the business. Sergio has promised to us to come back, maybe as comic actor, dreaming about possible entertaining evenings in our halls; we believe he is trying to work out how to surround public by his funny side and a little history which still comes out from the many alembics kept in the Berta Museum.
